Spiced Apple Posset Recipe
A comforting, spiced apple dessert joining the crisp flavour of apples with a subtle blend of spices.

METHOD
Step 1.
In a saucepan, simmer the apples, mixed spice, water and half the sugar. Cook until the apples softens.Step 2.
In another pan, heat the cream, cinnamon, and remaining sugar until it reaches a gentle boil. Cook for another 3 minutes.Step 3.
Let cool and then layer the apple mixture and cream mixture in your pots or ramekins.Step 4.
Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or until firm.Step 5.
Before serving, top with fresh whipped cream and sprinkle each posset with a little extra mixed spice.
