Chocolate & Walnut Biscuits Recipe
Delicious homemade biscuits sandwiched together with a smooth melted chocolate and topped off with a crunchy walnut. A delectable treat for all to enjoy!

METHOD
Step 1.
Preheat the oven to 180C/gas 4 and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.Step 2.
In a mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Then add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.Step 3.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture.Step 4.
Roll the mixture out onto a floured surface and cut into desired shapes. Place on the prepared baking tray.Step 5.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow them to cool on the baking tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.Step 6.
While biscuits are cooling, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or over a double boiler.Step 7.
When biscuits are cooled, sandwich together with the melted chocolate. Dip the walnuts it in the chocolate and stick them to the tops of the biscuit stacks. Allow them to set before serving.
