Step 1.
Place all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan.Step 2.
Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat while stirring frequently until the sugar is dissolved.Step 3.
Reduce heat to a simmer and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes until cranberries have burst and sauce has thickened.Step 4.
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken.Step 5.
Transfer into a bowl, cover, and store in the refrigerator until needed.
