Rosemary Steak with Crispy Potatoes & Fresh Greens Recipe

Tender, juicy steak seasoned with rosemary and garlic, served with golden crispy potatoes and a refreshing side of fresh greens. A satisfying and delicious meal that's sure to impress.

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    In a bowl, mix the chopped rosemary, minced garlic, salt, and olive oil.
  • Step 2.

    Rub the mixture onto the steak and let it marinate for 1 hour.
  • Step 3.

    Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Step 4.

    In a large pan, sear the steak on both sides until brown, then transfer to the oven and roast for 15 minutes.
  • Step 5.

    For the potatoes, cut them into 1cm sized chunks, mix them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly onto a baking tray and then bake in the oven until golden and crispy.
  • Step 6.

    For the greens sauté them in a pan over a medium heat with a little olive oil until tender. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  • Step 7.

    Serve the steak with crispy potatoes and fresh greens on the side.

  2. 4 Rosemary Sprigs, chopped

  3. 3 Garlic Cloves

  4. 4 tbspOlive Oil

  5. 1 kgPotatoes

  6. 100 gFresh Greens, tenderstem broccoli or asparagus

  7. 1 tbspSea Salt

  8. 1 tspBlack Pepper, crushed
