Gingerbread Hot Chocolate Recipe

METHOD
Step 1.
Heat the milk and gingerbread syrup in a saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.Step 2.
In a separate bowl, whisk the cocoa powder and sugar, gradually add a few tablespoons of the hot milk to make a smooth paste.Step 3.
Gradually whisk the cocoa paste into the milk until smooth and hot.Step 4.
Pour into mugs, top with marshmallows and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.Step 5.
Serve immediately with a gingerbread cookie on the side as an added treat.

500 mlMilk
60 mlGingerbread syrup
2 tbspCocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 tbspGranulated sugar
1 cupMarshmallows
1 tspCocoa powder, for garnish
2 Gingerbread Cookies (optional)
