This Saag Aloo Potato Salad is a delicious twist on a classic. Combining the flavours of the popular Indian dish with a traditional potato salad, it's a unique side that's sure to impress.





  • Step 1.

    Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2.

    In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and fry for a minute until fragrant.
  • Step 3.

    Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan and sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Step 4.

    Stir in the turmeric, garam masala, and chilli powder. Cook for another minute until the spices are well combined.
  • Step 5.

    Add the spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
  • Step 6.

    Add the cooked potatoes to the pan and stir until they are coated in the spice mixture and heated through.

    Remove from heat and let cool. Once cooled, stir in the yogurt and season with salt and pepper to taste.
