Sourdough Toast Topped with Mushrooms, Goat's Cheese & Poached Egg Recipe
A luxurious breakfast or brunch option that combines rustic sourdough bread with creamy goat's cheese, garlicky sautéed mushrooms, perfectly poached egg and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

METHOD
Step 1.
Heat oil in a pan, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until browned.Step 2.
Toast the slices of sourdough bread until golden brown.Step 3.
Peel and rub the garlic cloves over the the toasted sourdough.Step 4.
Top the toast with the sautéed mushrooms and crumble over the goats cheese.Step 5.
Poach the eggs to your liking and place on top of the mushrooms.Step 6.
Garnish with finely chopped parsley before serving. Season with salt and pepper too your liking and if you fancy an extra kick, sprinkle over some chilli flakes.
