This lovely dish combines fresh red chillies, juicy tomatoes, high-quality beef mince, and a hint of red wine for a rich, spicy, and hearty meal.

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    In a large pan, heat a dash of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Step 2.

    Add the beef mince and cook until browned, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Step 3.

    In the same pan, add a little more olive oil and cook the garlic and onion until softened.
  • Step 4.

    Add the chopped chillies and tomatoes, then return the cooked beef mince to the pan.
  • Step 5.

    Add red wine to the pan and stir everything together, allowing it to simmer.
  • Step 6.

    Let the sauce reduce for about 15-20 minutes, until it thickens.
  • Step 7.

    Meanwhile, cook the spaghettini as per the package instructions.
  • Step 8.

    Once everything is ready, combine the cooked spaghettini with the sauce, ensuring it is well coated.
  • Step 9.

    Serve hot, sprinkled with some fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, and a glass of red wine.

  6. 4 Tomatoes, diced

  9. 1 tbspFresh parsley, finely chopped

  10. 3 tbspParmesan cheese, grated
