Sticky Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking tray with butter.
  • Step 2.

    In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Step 3.

    Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk to form a dough.
  • Step 4.

    On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle shape.
  • Step 5.

    Spread the softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the butter.
  • Step 6.

    Roll up the dough, beginning at the long side. Cut into 12 equal size rolls and place cut side up in your prepared baking tray.
  • Step 7.

    Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 8.

    While the rolls are baking, mix together the icing sugar and milk to make the glaze.
  • Step 9.

    Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze on top.
  • Step 10.

    Serve warm and enjoy.
