Traditional Mulled Wine Recipe
A warming festive drink, traditional mulled wine is infused with cinnamon, cloves and orange for a sweet and spicy treat.

METHOD
Step 1.
Place the red wine, orange, sugar, and spices into a large saucepan.Step 2.
Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved.Step 3.
Taste to see if you want the wine sweeter and add more sugar if needed.Step 4.
Lower the heat and let the mulled wine gently simmer for at least 15 minutes.Step 5.
Strain the mulled wine and serve it hot.

750 mlRed wine
2 Oranges, sliced
100 gCaster sugar
2 Cinnamon sticks
6 Whole cloves
1 tspGround nutmeg
