Beef Burger with Crispy Onions, Bacon & Cheese Recipe

METHOD
Step 1.
Begin by toasting your sesame buns until they are lightly golden. Set aside.Step 2.
In a bowl, mix your ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into patties.Step 3.
Heat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat and cook your patties for about 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer it well done.Step 4.
Once flipped, add your sliced cheese on top of the patties to melt.Step 5.
In a separate pan, cook your bacon until crispy and set aside on paper towels to drain excess fat.Step 6.
Using the same pan, add a little more oil if needed, and fry your thinly sliced onions until they are crispy and caramelised.Step 7.
Assemble your burger by placing a mixed leaf salad on the bottom bun, followed by the cheese-topped beef patty, crispy bacon, and fried onions.Step 8.
Cap with the top bun and serve immediately with a side of fries and your favourite dipping sauce.
