Sizzling Beef Burger with Red Onion, Avocado and Peppadew Peppers Recipe

METHOD
Step 1.
Begin by gently forming your ground beef into patties, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Heat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat and cook the patties until they reach your desired doneness.Step 2.
While the burgers are cooking, thinly slice the red onion and sauté in a separate pan with a splash of oil until caramelised and soft, set aside.Step 3.
Slice the fresh avocado and peppadew peppers. Tear the lettuce into small palm sized pieces.Step 4.
When the burgers are nearly done, place a slice of cheese on each patty and let melt.Step 5.
Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Butter them.Step 6.
To assemble, place the beef patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun, followed by the sautéed red onion, slices of avocado, and peppadew peppers.Step 7.
Cap with the top bun and serve immediately.
