Creamy Tomato Spaghetti with Bocconcini Recipe

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2.

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Step 3.

    Stir in cans of tomatoes, sugar, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Step 4.

    Reduce heat to low and add cream, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Step 5.

    Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the pasta is heated through and fully coated in sauce.
  • Step 6.

    Remove from heat. Top with Bocconcini mozzarella balls and stir into the pasta.
  • Step 7.

    Serve in bowls topped with chopped basil and grated gran milano.

  8. 100 mlDouble cream

  9. 150 gBocconcini mozzarella balls

  10. 1 handfulFresh basil, chopped

  11. 1 tbspGran Milano cheese, grated
