Crispy Bacon and Wild Mushroom Loaded Fries Recipe

French fries generously topped with garlicky mayo, sautéed wild mushrooms and crispy bacon. A simple yet indulgent dish that is just delicious.

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  • Step 2.

    Spread out the fries on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until crispy.
  • Step 3.

    In the meantime, heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and fry until crispy, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Step 4.

    In the same pan, add the mushrooms and sauté them until they're tender and all the moisture has evaporated, then set aside.
  • Step 5.

    In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and garlic together, set aside.
  • Step 6.

    Once the fries are done, remove from oven and let them cool for a bit.
  • Step 7.

    Spread the garlic mayo over the fries, then top with the sautéed mushrooms and finish with a sprinkle of crispy bacon and parsley.
  • Step 8.

    Serve immediately for the best taste.
