Crispy Fried Duck Gyoza Recipe
Delicious Fried Duck Gyoza, an irresistible dumpling filled with rich duck meat and spices, fried to reach a perfect crunch.

METHOD
Step 1.
Mix the duck with ginger, garlic, two spring onions, soy sauce and sesame oil.Step 2.
Place a spoonful of the duck mixture into the centre of each gyoza wrapper.Step 3.
Fold the wrapper over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.Step 4.
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over a medium heat.Step 5.
Arrange the dumplings in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.Step 6.
Pour in enough water to come halfway up the sides of the dumplings. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.Step 7.
Uncover the pan, increase the heat and cook until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are crispy and browned.Step 8.
To make the dipping sauce add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red chilli flakes and spring onion.Step 9.
Serve the gyoza hot with the dipping sauce.

100 mlWater
1 tbspRice vinegar (for dipping sauce)
1 tspSesame oil (for dipping sauce)
2 tbspSoy sauce (for dipping sauce)
1 Spring onions, chopped (for dipping sauce)
1 tspChilli flakes (for dipping sauce)
