Everything Sweet Crêpes Recipe

These delectable crepes incorporate strawberries, edible flowers, caramel sauce, whipped cream and fresh mint into one delightful delicacy. The rich flavours from the caramel sauce and the freshness of the strawberries and mint, balanced by the lightness of the crepes and whipped cream, make for a perfect dessert or brunch treat.

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    In a large bowl, mix crepe ingredients to create a smooth batter. Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2.

    Cook crepes by spooning about half a cup of batter into a heated pan and cook until lightly browned. Flip and cook the other side. Once done set adide and keep crepes warm.
  • Step 3.

    Chop strawberries and mint. Set aside.
  • Step 4.

    Drizzle some caramel sauce on each crepe and distribute chopped strawberries and mint on top. Fold the crepe in half and then half again.
  • Step 5.

    Top each crepe with whipped cream. Sprinkle with edible flowers, and more strawberries and another drizzle of caramel sauce then garnish with fresh mint as desired.
  • Step 6.

    Serve immediately.

  1. 1 cupCrepe mix

  2. 10 Fresh strawberries

  3. 0.25 cupEdible flowers

  4. 100 mlCaramel sauce

  5. 200 mlWhipped cream

  6. 0.25 cupFresh mint leaves
