Festive Holiday Eggnog Recipe
This homemade eggnog is thick, creamy and packed with the holiday spirit. It's perfect for sipping on a chilly winter night!

METHOD
Step 1.
In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks until they become slightly lighter in colour.Step 2.
Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved.Step 3.
Add the milk, cream, bourbon, nutmeg and stir to combine.Step 4.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites to soft peaks.Step 5.
Gradually add the remaining sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.Step 6.
Whisk the egg whites into the eggnog mixture.Step 7.
Rim the glasses, first with the gingerbread syrup then with the cinnamon sugar.Step 8.
Serve the eggnog chilled, top with whipped cream if desired.

1 tspFreshly grated nutmeg
6 Egg whites
1 tspCinnamon Sugar, for the rim
0.5 tspGingerbread syrup, for the rim
