Homemade Blackberry Pie Recipe

This homemade blackberry pie is a summertime classic. Bursting with juicy, sweet blackberries and encased in a flaky, buttery crust, it's a dessert that's sure to impress.





  • Step 1.

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2.

    In a large bowl, combine the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined and then set aside.
  • Step 3.

    Roll out half of your pie dough and lay it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Step 4.

    Pour the blackberry mixture into the pie crust, spread evenly.
  • Step 5.

    Roll out the remaining dough and place it over the top of the blackberries. Trim and crimp the edges, then cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
