METHOD
Step 1.
Break open the coconut and pour the coconut water into a jar, you can save it to drink later or discard it. You wont need the coconut water for this recipe. Set aside the coconut meat.Step 2.
Rinse the coconut meat under cool water and place it into a blender. Add 4 cups of water to the blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.Step 3.
Pour the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer into a jar. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible, then discard the coconut pulp.Step 4.
Store the milk in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Shake before using, as it may separate.
