METHOD
Step 1.
Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan)Step 2.
In a pan, melt the butter and add apples, rhubarb, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook until the fruit is tenderStep 3.
Set the fruit aside to cool while you prepare the pastryStep 4.
Roll out your pastry and line your mini pie tinsStep 5.
Spoon the apple and rhubarb mixture into your pastry-lined tinsStep 6.
Top each with a pastry lid and brush with milkStep 7.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pies are goldenStep 8.
Leave to cool before serving.

50 gButter
500 gReady made shortcrust pastry
