METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat your oven to 180℃.
  • Step 2.

    Roll out puff pastry until thin, cut into squares.
  • Step 3.

    On each square of puff pastry, add a splash of lemon juice and then layer a few slices of plum with a few slices of candied lemon and then sprinkle with sugar.
  • Step 4.

    Fold the edges of the puff pastry around the filling and press gently to seal.
  • Step 5.

    Place on a baking sheet, brush with beaten egg wash.
  • Step 6.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 7.

    Dust with icing sugar before serving.

  2. 2 Lemons

  3. 6 Ripe plums, sliced thinly

  4. 100 gCaster sugar

  5. 1 Egg

  6. 12 Candied lemon slices
