Pomegranate Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Delicious sautéed Brussels sprouts, crisp and caramelised, are made even more delightful with a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds. This healthy side dish is perfect for a festive dinner.

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Rinse Brussels sprouts under cold water, trim the base and cut in half.
  • Step 2.

    Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  • Step 3.

    Add the Brussels sprouts and cook, stirring occasionally until sprouts are golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Step 4.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 5.

    Meanwhile, dislodge pomegranate seeds from their shell by cutting it in half and tapping it with a spoon over a bowl.
  • Step 6.

    Once Brussels sprouts are cooked, plate them up and sprinkle the pomegranate seeds on top before serving.
