Steamed Chicken Gyoza Recipe

  • Step 1.

    Combine chicken, cabbage, spring onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a mixing bowl.
  • Step 2.

    Lay out your gyoza wrappers and spoon approximately one tablespoon of the chicken mixture into the centre of each.
  • Step 3.

    Wet the edges of the gyoza wrapper, fold over to create a half moon shape and pleat the edges to seal, then set aside.
  • Step 4.

    Heat a pan with a bit of vegetable oil. Place gyoza in pan and fry until one side is golden brown.
  • Step 5.

    Pour in some water and immediately cover the pan with a lid. Allow the gyoza to steam until water is fully evaporated.
  • Step 6.

    Remove from heat, serve with dipping sauce, and enjoy.
