Tomato Chutney & Cheese Pastry Rolls Recipe
These cheesy, tangy pastry rolls filled with home-made tomato chutney are perfect for a light lunch or a delicious appetiser.

METHOD
Step 1.
Start by preheating the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with grease-proof paper.Step 2.
Next, place all the tomato chutney ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. After reaching the boiling point, simmer for 1 hour until the mixture thickens.Step 3.
While the chutney is cooling, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles. Then, spread the chutney and sprinkle cheese over each rectangle.Step 4.
Roll up the pastry rectangles with the chutney/cheese on the inside. Lay them on their sides on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.Step 5.
Finally, bake in the already heated oven for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown. Serve warm.
