Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Brownies Recipe

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat oven to 180°C, and line a baking tin with greaseproof paper.
  • Step 2.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, flour and baking powder.
  • Step 3.

    In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate with the butter.
  • Step 4.

    Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the flour mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Step 5.

    Beat in eggs, vanilla extract and caster sugar until the mixture is smooth.
  • Step 6.

    Pour the batter into the prepared tin and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Step 7.

    Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Step 8.

    While brownies are cooling, prepare the chocolate drizzle: melt the additional chocolate and use a spoon to drizzle over the top of the cooled brownies.
  • Step 9.

    Cut into squares and serve.

  5. 110 gButter

  6. 3 Eggs

  8. 200 gCaster sugar

  9. 50 gDark chocolate, for drizzling
