Brandy Tiramisu Topped with Frozen Berries Recipe

A delectable twist on the classic Italian dessert featuring a hint of brandy, and garnished with a colourful assortment of frozen berries.





  • Step 1.

    Combine egg yolks and sugar in the top of a double boiling pot. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and creamy.
  • Step 2.

    Remove from heat. Stir in brandy, then fold in whipped cream and mascarpone cheese until well combined.
  • Step 3.

    Dip ladyfingers briefly in cold espresso, then arrange in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish. Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Step 4.

    Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream mixture on top.
  • Step 5.

    Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, until set.
  • Step 6.

    Just before serving, generously top the tiramisu with frozen berries. Dust with cocoa powder. Serve chilled.
