METHOD
Step 1.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).Step 2.
Start with the parmesan tuiles by grating the parmesan cheese finely. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place small heaps of parmesan, spacing them well apart, and flatten slightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Let them cool before carefully removing from the sheet.Step 3.
Slice the baguette into 1cm thick pieces and arrange them on another baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.Step 4.
Once the bread is toasted, let it cool for a bit before spreading a generous amount of duck pâté over each slice.Step 5.
Place a parmesan tuile on top of the pâté on each canapé.Step 6.
Garnish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped chives for added colour and flavour.
