METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C.
  • Step 2.

    In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  • Step 3.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the water and oil, then gradually add this to the dry ingredients while kneading constantly.
  • Step 4.

    Add the cheese and continue to knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Step 5.

    Place the dough in a dutch oven and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, which should take about 1 hour.
  • Step 6.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 7.

    After baking, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a bit before cutting into it.
