METHOD
Step 1.
Pre-heat your oven to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius.Step 2.
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar and salt.Step 3.
Combine the butter with the dry ingredients and mix until crumb-like texture is achieved.Step 4.
Slightly beat the yolks and then add it to the mixture. Stir until a dough forms.Step 5.
Roll the dough into a disk shape and then let it rest in the fridge for an hour.Step 6.
Bring out the dough from the fridge and gently press it onto a tart pan.Step 7.
Bake the tart crust for about 25 minutes and then allow it to cool.Step 8.
While the dough is cooling, prepare the cherries by placing them in a saucepan with sugar and a splash of water.Step 9.
Cook on a medium heat for about 15 minutes or until cherries become sticky.Step 10.
Place the sticky cherries on top of the tart and then serve.
