Spiced Pear Pie Recipe
A delightful combination of spiced succulent pear filling resting atop a flaky pie crust. The taste of fall in every bite.

METHOD
Step 1.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.Step 2.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out half the pastry to fit a 23cm pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate.Step 3.
In a large bowl, combine pears, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice.Step 4.
Spoon mixture into pastry-lined pie plate and dot with butter. Roll out remaining pastry to fit top of pie, cut any excess.Step 5.
Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until pears are soft and pastry is golden brown.

125 gPlain flour
100 gCaster sugar
6 Pears, peeled and diced
1 tspGround cinnamon
0.5 tspGrated nutmeg
2 tbspLemon juice
30 gUnsalted butter
