Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe

These smooth, moist and decadent little muffins are a chocolate lover's dream. They're so quick and easy to make, and they're perfect for a treat, or decorated for special occasions!





  • Step 1.

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a muffin pan.
  • Step 2.

    In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • Step 3.

    In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, milk, and eggs.
  • Step 4.

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until mixed well.
  • Step 5.

    Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about three-fourths full.
  • Step 6.

    Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • Step 7.

    Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Step 8.

    Dust with icing sugar and enjoy!
