METHOD

  • Step 1.

    In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  • Step 2.

    In another bowl, mix together the milk, eggs and melted butter. Gradually add this to the flour mixture and stir until smooth.
  • Step 3.

    Fold in the chopped pecans.
  • Step 4.

    Heat your waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour in the waffle mixture and cook until golden brown.
  • Step 5.

    Top your waffles with crushed nuts, fresh blueberries and a dollop of whipped cream, then serve.
