METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Combine the milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

    In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gradually whisk in about half of the warm milk mixture to temper the eggs.

    Return the egg and milk mixture to the saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

    Remove from the heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter until well incorporated.
