Mini Strawberry Galettes Recipe

These juicy and flavourful Strawberry Jam Mini Galettes are a perfect breakfast or dessert option to enjoy with your family.





  • Step 1.

    Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and lightly dust a baking tray.
  • Step 2.

    In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Cut the cold butter into small pieces add to the flour. The mixture should resemble coarse crumbs.
  • Step 3.

    Pour water into the mixture and stir until the dough comes together.
  • Step 4.

    Roll the dough into a cylinder and cut into 6 equal pieces. Flatten each piece on a lightly floured surface into a circular shape.
  • Step 5.

    Spread the strawberry jam on each piece of dough, leaving a border at the edges.
  • Step 6.

    Fold the edges of the dough over the jam to create a galette shape, then place on the baking tray.
  • Step 7.

    Beat the egg and brush over the crust. Sprinkle with sugar.
  • Step 8.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
