Pesto Pizza with Tomatoes & Pine Nuts Recipe

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and place a pizza stone or baking tray inside to heat up.
  • Step 2.

    Roll out the pizza dough on a floured worktop until around 12 inches in diameter.
  • Step 3.

    Spread the pesto evenly over the surface of the dough leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Step 4.

    Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the pesto.
  • Step 5.

    Half and arrange tomato slices over the cheese.
  • Step 6.

    Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or tray in the oven.
  • Step 7.

    Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is browned and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Step 8.

    Remove from the oven, top with a drizzle of garlic oil and sprinkle with pine nuts.
