Spicy Bacon Bap in a Toasted Bun Recipe

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Preheat your grill on medium-high for the bacon and lightly toast the buns on the cut side.
  • Step 2.

    Grill the bacon for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until desired crispness.
  • Step 3.

    While the bacon is cooking, finely slice the onion and pickles.
  • Step 4.

    Once the bacon is done, let it rest on paper towel lined plate to absorb excess fat.
  • Step 5.

    Season the onion slices with salt and sugar and fry in a little oil until soft and slightly caramelised.
  • Step 6.

    Pile bacon, onions, pickles, and jalapeños on toasted buns, season to taste and serve immediately.
