Spicy Mango & Crispy Catfish Tacos Recipe

METHOD

  • Step 1.

    Begin by mixing the mango, red onion, chopped coriander, lime juice, peppers and sliced chilli in a bowl. Season with salt to taste for the mango salsa.
  • Step 2.

    In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the catfish fillets in this mixture.
  • Step 3.

    Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the catfish until crispy and golden, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Once cooked, let them rest on a paper towel.
  • Step 4.

    Warm the tortillas in a dry pan.
  • Step 5.

    To assemble, place a piece of crispy catfish on each tortilla. Top with the spicy mango salsa.
  • Step 6.

    Garnish with extra coriander leaves and a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
